Carina Harb / Law student

Carina Harb is completing her studies in the Bachelor of Civil Law and Juris Doctor program at McGill University. She has been working as a law student at O’Reilly, André-Grégoire & Associates since April 2026.

During her studies at McGill’s Faculty of Law, Carina volunteered at legal clinics and worked with a boutique law firm in Montreal. She holds a degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in Health Sciences from the University of Ottawa. Her prior work experiences allowed her to gain invaluable knowledge of the Impact Assessment Act, environmental evaluations, and consultation processes. She also worked as a policy researcher at the Green Career Centre, where she co-authored two reports offering recommendations to address gender inequality in the sustainability sector, as well as recommendations for the Sustainable Jobs Plan from the perspective of underrepresented youth.

Carina has always been passionate about social and environmental justice, particularly around issues related to anti-colonial struggles for Indigenous sovereignty.
